What Is Window Film?
Window film manufactured by Bekaert Speciality films are the
result of award winning development and advanced technology.
Transparent layers of high quality polyester are metalised,
laminated and coated using special adhesives, ultraviolet
inhibitor and protective scratch resistant coatings. Bekaert
pioneered
the use of ‘sputtered’ films which is the manufacturing
process whereby metal particles such as titanium, stainless
steel, copper and aluminium are embedded into, rather than
onto, the polyester film. Selected concentrations of metal
particles allow for varying degrees of colour and solar energy
rejection capability. The result is probably the finest quality
film product in the world.
